Reconfiguring Convertible
Convertible is the only pop-up display system that is
truly modular and can be reconfigured in the field without
the use of any tools. Converting Convertible from
a full-height backwall to a 2 quad display is very simple
and can be done by one person in less than 10 minutes
by following steps 1 through 5.
Determine
Quads
| To
determine which hubs to unscrew, open frame slightly
and determine how many quads the reconfiguration
will have. Make
sure that every quad has 4 hubs. After determination
of which scissors need to be dismantled, follow
the instructions 1 through 5. |
Frame
Lock Positions
Note
that certain reconfiguration may require the
movement of frame locks. Simply unscrew
locking hubs in same manner as standard hubs
and relocate locks to desired position.
NEVER
UNSCREW ALL THE HUBS!
- Place
frame on floor with one set of hubs resting
of floor and one set of hubs facing you.
- Open
frame slightly so there are about six
inches between each hub.
- Unscrew
thumbscrew by hand and take off front
part of hub. (to determine which thumbscrews
to unscrew, see "determine quads"
section of these instructions).
- Disengage
desired parts of the frame and reattach
hub front to hub back with thumbscrew.
Turn over the frame and repeat.
- Store
the unneeded parts in a safe place.
